Visitors with mobility access requirements
There is a level entrance into the HCPC at our 22-26 Stannary Street entrance. There is no staffed reception at this entrance, although there is an intercom which you can use to notify us of your arrival. If you would like to make use of this entrance, we would advise you to give us prior warning. The main Park House entrance does not have a level entrance. There are six steps at this entrance. If you are due to visit the HCPC please contact us to discuss how we can best help you on your arrival.
We have a lift for public use when travelling from the Stannary Street side of the building to Park House. Staff do not need to be notified for use of this lift but can help if you require assistance. The controls of the lift are within reach for a wheelchair user but it does not have an audible announcer or tactile signage.
There are adapted toilets near our Stannary Street entrance designated for public use. All toilets have braille signage.
An onsite wheelchair is available to visitors on request. Please let us know ahead of your visit should you like to make use of this and we will make sure it is available to you.
Assistance dogs are welcomed.
Deaf or hard of hearing visitors
We have an assistive listening system available for use at all meetings at the HCPC. Further information about the system can be found here.
Materials in audio formats, braille or large print
All of our materials are available in audio formats, braille or large print on request. If you would like an alternative format for your visit please contact us in advance and we will ensure that these are available to you.
